Adoption Consent Form
We’re glad you’ve agreed to adopt and thank you for your willingness to serve in this way.

Guidelines:
1. MGF will host your website and remain as administrator of the site while you manage the site. This just means that while you will be managing, writing content, posting, we will simply be the admin. We will ultimately oversee the site to assure that it is moving along, that comments and responses are appropriate, and to assist you as updates in the software are needed, etc.
2. As with any other online venue, no one on the site, or those who are commenting, may engage in name-calling, threats, exchanges of insults, or intentionally rude behavior towards fellow members. It’s 100% fine and normal that you don’t agree with another member’s comments, and it’s completely fine to state that, but do so without insults. People may post things that are common knowledge, are answered in a pinned topic, or have already been posted many times before. If you care to reply, do so without the use of a condescending tone.
3.Do not post copyright protected pictures without permission. We’d love for you to post original photos with your posts or public domain photos, or photos from our gallery; if you post original photos of LDS events, activities, family gatherings, Church-sponsored socials, etc., please be sure others have given permission to be included online, and use first names only, if names are used at all on your blog post. Same applies to original video clips of events.
4. Do not post anything pornographic or indecent in nature that could be found offensive by any of our members. Refrain from sharing links to pictures, videos, etc, that are not supposed to be shared publicly, are not legal, and/or violate the terms of use of the source website.
5. While we are not anticipating breaches of these guidelines, our policy should those occur follows: Failure to adhere to the guidelines will result in having your posting and website privileges taken away, either temporarily or permanently (depending on the severity of the situation as decided by MGF staff and administrators), or even having your account completely deleted. You may or may not receive a warning depending on the severity of infringement and at the sole discretion of our team.
6. Each of our sites will have a disclaimer on it indicating that we are not an official site of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When you respond to comments, we encourage you to be sure that it is clear that you are not speaking “on behalf of” the Church where appropriate. If someone thinks they have reached an official site, evidenced in their comment, please refer them on to lds.org or mormon.org.Thanks for being part of Adopt-a-Site!
